SCHIP Gives $1,400 to Support Teen Pregnancy Prevention Outreach

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:00 pm by Lund

Lund Family Center recently received a $1,400 grant from Shelburne Charlotte Hinesburg Interfaith Projects (SCHIP) to support Teen Pregnancy Prevention Outreach presentations at Champlain Union Valley High School and throughout the State of Vermont.  Funding for SCHIP grants is generated through the sale of donated iteams at SCHIP’s Treasure Resale Shop.  To date, more than $200,000 has been given out in SCHIP grants to fund emergency aid, education, community projects, health, and welfare in the surrounding Shelburne, Charlotte, and Hinesburg communities.  Lund is excited about its continued partnership with SCHIP in its effort to reduce teen pregnancy.  Lund thanks SCHIP and its incredible volunteers for making this grant possible.
