Shop to Benefit Lund Family Center at The Clothes Exchange May 18-19, 2011

Do you have beautiful clothes that you no longer wear?  The Clothes Exchange is accepting clothing donations for their tenth anniversary charitable fundraiser.  Founded by Leslie Halperin in 2001 as a benefit for New York and New Jersey survivors of 9/11, The Clothes Exchange began as a clothing swap between friends.  Last year, 700 women attended The Clothes Exchange in search of Vermont’s hottest boutique bargains.  The organization has raised $210,000 for local non-profit organizations.  This year’s event will be held at the Sheraton in Burlington, and proceeds will be shared with Spectrum Youth & Family Services and past event beneficiaries including Lund Family Center.

Apparel sponsors include Marc Jacobs, Stella Shoes, Claudia Venon, and Whim among others.  Food, wine, and music entertain shoppers throughout the event.

Shop First tickets may be purchased for $110 and will provide holders with exclusive shopping access one day before the event opens to the public.  Ticket holders will shop from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, May 18.

Main Event tickets may be purchased for $10 and will allow holders to shop from 5-9 pm on Thursday, May 19.

All tickets will be available online in March at The Clothes Exchange Website.
