Holiday Giving Program 2011

Posted in Events at 3:43 pm by Lund

Lund Family Center staff and the families we serve invite you to join our Holiday Giving Program. The year continues to be challenging for so many people especially with the enduring impact of Hurricane Irene. We are grateful to you for advancing our mission to help families thrive. This year, we strongly encourage you to donate gift cards in $25 increments as holiday gifts to give our clients the flexibility to fill the gaps in their daily needs from food and clothing to feeding their families long after the holidays have come and gone.

Your gifts will make it a better holiday season for so many and help Lund provide support and services to children and families throughout the year. Gift cards give parents the gift of being able to shop for their children for the holidays. For women and children who live at Lund during the holidays, and for our community clients who would otherwise not receive any gifts, we have attached a general wish list to match donations with specific requests expressed by clients.

$25 gift card requests include: Mobil, Old Navy, Wal-mart, Shaw’s Supermarket, Hannaford’s, Price Chopper, Visa Gift Card, Exxon, Flying Pig Bookstore, Kohl’s, Toys R Us, iTunes, P&C, Movie Passes, Shell, Vermont Electric Co-op, Home Depot, Amazon and Borders.

We also have a long list of wish items that families and children have asked for this holiday season. Please contact us to be matched up with a child or family today!

Thank you again for supporting Lund’s work and our clients. If you are interested in the Holiday Giving Program or have any questions please contact Alex Brady at alexb@lundfamilycenter.org or 802-861-2585.
