Alex Brady wins Employee of the Quarter for his incredible work going above and beyond his regular job duties. Brady managed all of the Holiday Giving, working weekends and evening to raise $105,000 worth of gifts for families in need this past year.

“Brady spent countless hours organizing Holiday Giving and made himself available for gift drop offs on the weekends as well when it was most convenient for donors. He is always open to helping other departments, even when his duties fall outside his typical job,” wrote a co-worker in their nomination.

He also participated in Santa Night to raise money for Lund, helped out at the Glen Road Holiday Party, coordinated and spoke at the four films at Main Street Landing, attended a Saturday fundraising event called Boloco’s 12 Days of Giving and participated in PINS Sunday at Charlotte Congregational Church.

“Brady has made a significant impact on the agency in many ways, but arguably his most notable impact has been how approachable he is. It makes a huge difference to work with someone who goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and at the same time is willing to take on others’ work when they need help. He is a true team-player,” wrote a co-worker in their nomination.

Joining the impressive circle of past winners has made this award all the more special for Brady.

“I was in complete shock and so honored to be recognized for my achievements last quarter. I know its always a very competitive award because we have such great staff here at Lund and I know the people who have won it in the past have just gone above and beyond, so its great to be recognized with those past winners.”

He says receiving the award has made him want to work even harder.

“It definitely motivated me to continue to work hard and it has given me that extra sense of accomplishment. I want to continue to work hard for this agency because I know that I am valued here. That’s something everyone should feel,” says Brady.
